Beggars are people. In some cases they have been traumatized into mental states simply dysfunctional. Helping them helps everyone eventually, but only if help is a transaction and not just a donation
Beggars: those who beg either (1.) do not understand to offer their service(s) in return for cash or (2.) are just being lazy. SOLUTION= offer BCH for activity paid upon verification. TRANSACT !
Please recommend a hosting provider for a BCH node ? https://lowendbox.com/ shovels an enormous amount of information but sifting through who might offers a crypto-paid KVM + DEBIAN solution hurts
3. Then we need the button to commit the transfer, which is not a "tipping" which elsewhere in the MEMO architecture is directed toward the author of some POST or other ACTION.
1. - We need to be able to look up the new address (" 'did you sign up' 'yes, already' 'what are the last six digits ?' 'q8xYz7' 'I found it, about 7 minutes ago, right?' 'yeah' 'funding you now'")
Digging further into the onboarding-funding gap: new unfunded account do _exist_ but there is no way to fund them from inside MEMO because -three- necessary requirements are missing
Tha absence of any kind of planning/announcement regarding "Invitation code" is a showstopper for onboarding new authors. I certainly hope this changes soon
Since many of these addresses are stillborn, and you don;t want to clutter up the works with abandoned sign-ups, maybe just a page of sign-up addresses we can tip covering just the past hour or so ?
Looking at sourcecode it seems -( if I read correctly )- that the new user address is not added to the list of profiles until at least one "ACTION" is performed. Conceivaby there exist thousands.
The bottleneck is discovering the new address: it requires too much fiddling with camera email texts etc when the address should be already (immediately) tippable by the community. Cheers !
Could we adjust PROFILES->NEW to allow tipping new sign-ons ->lacking names<- ? This would help onboard new accounts to quiickly tip them enough BCH to set name and begin posting...
