If you turn off split protection in settings it won't pay attention to which chain coins are on.
Do I need to make an extra long post in order to split my coins? I have it turned it off and it seems to still be broadcasting to both chains

Fully agree, but when it's for a stress test it's really for research/testing, spamming the same tweets on top of Memo over and over isn't very helpful unless Memo needs a stress test
