Maybe Twetch doesn't need to pander to average users. Maybe the above/average invest in revolutionary things ahead of the curve, and the average catch up.
Each Twetch is an investment towards developing the entire ecosystem. There are already lots of users willing to pay these prices to twetch. The "High fees" (talking pennies) will enable Twetch to grow longterm. Not just in total posts, but in design.
