all BCH wallets need to implement the memo-protocol; wallets should start by implementing memo-profiles as `contacts`; this would make public people searchable & tip-able from any wallet
memos will eventually just be used as a timestamp hash for another blockchain
Memo now can be used as substitute to sms messaging. Someone needs to build an app for it.
Adding memo functionality to wallets is an interesting idea; it could allow for much greater adoption and use; but there should be an easy way to 'change users'
