What happened to the old faucet method, you watch/click an advert, and you get a share of the ad revenue, this was how many faucets used to work, same with games
we need to show the world BCH can handle millions of tx per day, & even if blocks get full, a minimum fee tx will confirm shortly after, proving 0-conf is safe for merchants.
One thing we must note: This will definitely not be money wasted, over 5m tx in a day, will be a MASSIVE positive sign for merchants, investors & users. This is very useful.

we can donate, post msgs any day of the week, what we are aiming for is just 1 day a year people stress test the network, every way helps but the goal is high volume of tx
@slb yes all additional ways are welcome, but main aim will be to showcase BCH capacity, so posting, donating or any other method will be 3x more costly to stress test
BCH is living in the shadow of BTC's failures, we need to prove BCH can handle millions of minimum fee tx per day TODAY! merchants & businesses need to see this happen on mainnet
@excalibur we plan to have scripts people can run, and other methods, plus everyone is free to flood memo, blockpress and keyport with msgs
it is not about testing the blocks or blocksize, it is about showcasing BCH networks capacity, demonstrating to the world on mainnet what BCH is capable of
@DC-b yes we cannot rely on just one type of action, & while some may prefer donations, that is a very expensive way to "stress test" the network, cost is minimum 3x
Currently per day BCH handles ~15k tx, BTC does ~170k tx, we want to demonstrate to merchants, biz, investors & ourselves that BCH can handle millions of tx per day at minimum fee
