Wouldn't that destroy memo and Yours unless they started using the SV chain?
I don't like any of the options. Technically, I would move to the "altcoin" of Skycoin, when it's out.
BCH Hardfork without replay protection simply explained. Great video. Cleared up many questions and confusion I had. Hope it helps some of you as well.
CSW said he will mine even if BCH goes to $0. BCH miners for the win. Bye bye Jihan.
Isn’t CSW a confirmed compulsive liar though? I mean do you really think that he would literally burn all his money away mining BCHSV if BCHABC takes the majority hash win?
Yes, i believe he will fight for Bitcoin better than anyone else. I’ve been waiting for this fight and for resorting Satoshi’s vision for over half a decade. It’s time.
I’m not trying to argue one side over the other BTW. I am just trying to have an honest open minded discussion. Like I said, take out CSW & I like both SV & ABC plans forward.
What do you think of having an easy way to see people’s previous profile names? Do you like being able to change name or want to keep track of who is who?
Orphaning would only happen if SV's hashpower >= ABC thereby allowing SV to mine empty/erroneous blocks quicker than ABC hence forming the longest proof of work chain. Seems unlikely
For a feather attack they don't need suck hashpower. It was explained by a memo user a few days ago.
I have one new perspective since 32MB blocks were mined: could it be that during stress test miners didn't want to mine 32MB blocks so that they can say original code can't scale?
Much conspiracy. Could be wrong but I always thought its computationally ineffective to pack so many transactions in one block since the main mining reward is coming from the coinbase
Looks more and more plausible that SV=BS. BTC was CRippled in a way to start a vicious circle that will take out all the other cryptocurrencies and force everyone into a manageable single chain.
Because there are businesses out there that could use 1GB blocks at a hefty fee, and won't even start developing their apps.
If the system craps out at 22mb because of bottleneck issues then increasing to 128 doesn’t resolve that. Fix the bottleneck then increase to 128 in 6 months is logical & safe.
