EOS community is all built by developers. BM is also genius w a lot of reputation. Seems like they did everything right and the scale of the project is massive.
The problem I have with them is they, from what I've seen, actively reject "code is law" for a more manual approach. They act like a bank and don't seem to want it any other way.
Can we entertain ourselves and talk about EOS for a second? Need an open thread. What does everyone think about the way their communities are built, super nodes etc?

Banker's will weld bitcoin just as strongly as fiat. Bitcoin once loaned, becomes debt money. It makes no difference.
Not being able to have daddy Federal Reserve print you money when you fail may make banks more responsible when using bitcoin. That might make them not too quick to adopt it.

we have seen some partial examples, and we've seen the free market do some great things, but we haven't seen anything I can call an ancap society really. Modern ancap is relatively new

Kind of like Larken Rose said, I see Voluntaryism as the overall philosophy that doesn't really offer a "master plan," while anarcho-capitalism is an economic plan/structure

As technology innovates and wealth increases; as we get to the immemorial human goal of achieving more through less, everyone will be better off and we don't need UBI. AI doesn't change that.
If the UBI is forced by a government rather than the free market, it is immoral, unethical, bad economically, and socialistic.

@minkaminka hard question to answer under these limits. In short, the smaller the better, and I believe it can be abolished altogether and replaced by a voluntary society and free market
