Never thought about it like that. But cash address is adopted nearly everywhere and it does prevent from spending to a BTC address. I think ledger doesn't support it though 😒

think you're right ledger doesn't support it (community wishes it would & address converters seem simple?). afaik trezor doesn't support it either.
