Great article. I enjoy these principles, but I wonder if I have understood the meaning of this one in particular. What is the natural resonance you're referring to here?

I get the "make cars your employees can afford", is that what it means?

I read somewhere it was to do with the Timber lobby as a way to monopolise raw material for paper manufacturing. Looking it up now.

I seem to be perpetually completing taxes.

Can anyone in USA, and Richmond VA specifically recommend a tax accountant who is BitCoin savvy?

Overheard my friend’s management training zoom call yesterday - all about gender pronouns and sensitivity. Next month is unconscious bias training.

For future reference my preferred pronouns are: Yuri / Bezmenov

As someone who has worked in the TV industry, most saw this as sacred. I felt so disgusted by it at the time and I still do. Of you have to force people to pay for it - it’s not good content.

Oh interesting. Here in the UK they just send you threatening letters which tell you that you might be breaking the law by not paying the license. They scare old people into paying, I assume.

I'm thankful that's it's not enforced by law.

The problem with Netflix is their woke editorialising. Monthly subscription kills price signals. A better system would allow viewers to punish films like Cuties with rejection while supporting good content. Requires micropayments. Let’s build that.

Commercial banks compete at least, which is good.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Great question. Currently: Commercial banks who pick who to loan to, and the State who issue treasury bonds, and the central banks who choose when and where to QE.

Who should? Perhaps that's your point - you can't?

Definition on @13328 :
"A general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money.
Not simply an increase in the base monetary supply."

If one could increase money supply while goods were becoming cheaper to create through productivity improvements then hypothetically one could increase the monetary supply without causing inflation.

What do you think?

My exact point is counter to this. I thought this too, but I'm not sure that's accurate. It would only be inflation if it had an upside effect on prices. I think what people mean by inflation is: prices go up numerically, by definition.

So, issuing new currency would actually be a legit good idea so long as the actual value being produced by the economy was going up. So more people were finding their optimal profession for example. Oe if people were getting enthusiastic about life. True?

Hm. This has stimulated an interesting thought: Increasing the money supply doesn't have to result in inflation; so long as the real value of goods & services available to purchase with those dollars increases proportionally across the period of issuance.

Respond to a bunch of 5-point Likert scale prompts, in other words - sell my observations about certain things to various companies.
