I saw an excellent doc the other day called Cartel Land, which some of you may have heard of when it came out. Super raw, very beautifully shot, would be a good double feature with Sicario.
I'm a big doc-head. Some of my favorites: We Live in Public, Land of Silence and Darkness, Koyaanisqatsi, Salesman. I could list hundreds, honestly.
What are the people refusing to work putting into the system?
Real capitalism is meant to be a game of least resistance being played by brave and ardent risk-takers.
They have no skin in the game because they aren't punished. This is why Trump is a great president--- he has made foolish business decisions and lost money and had to assume the consequences.
Crony capitalism exists because people aren't held accountable for the risk they assume.
But even that will be something of a crude simulation that ultimately can still translate back along the path of least resistance.
In my opinion, we will see at some point communism ON TOP of capitalism through opt-in societies using friction-less token schemes.
And it is never, ever ever ever ever ever going to end. Ever. Get used to it. Get cozy.
I mean, in this instance I'd rather have CET short term for the divs. Right?
