memo.cash is an interesting combination of permanent and uncensored. Be mindful - this is likely a new form of long-term memory for evolution. Every other form of long term memory suffers from mutability.
Just realized that Memo is no different from BCH. It's meant to be used. The more we use it, the more it will grow. Kudos to those who built it and those who helped keep it alive.
No difference - money is speech! My exercise for fellow memoers: if u'd travel back in time with a knowledge of Bitcoin before it was created what would u change/do? My version later

I've experimented with transaction fees below 1 sat/byte and unfortunately they are very unreliable, often staying in the mempool for hours or not getting confirmed at all.
I see. I hope at some point Memo.cash'll participate in development of a client/app that talks with blockchain directly with an option to talk cheaper trading it off for conf. time
You can try that with Electron Cash: set the fee that you want and write your memo in the OP_RETURN field following the protocol.
I guess, u're right. Centralized interfaces to Memo will focus on fast confirmations to improve UX and nodes' load, and inevitable decentralized interfaces will have more flexibility
I'd like to see the price of a single memo or any acttion on Memo down to 1 sat. Is it possible? What do we need to achieve that? Better software of protocol upgrade?

Until the relay node operators configure their relay fee thresholds, going below 1sat/b is very unlikelty to reach miners. There is work being done to change this though, in node implemenations.
Again, want to encourage you, guys, to set a like at least to the dust limit - make value sharing innate to Memo. I did. I'll like at least 5 next replies to the topic in the spirit of that
