Exactly! After using crypto for some payments it feels really weird going back to a system that makes you feel like you have no control over anything and have to give up a ton of infos

PayPal is notorious for freezing sellers accounts.

The avalanche pre-consensus protocol used to be quite controversial when it was initially discussed and later tested. Are you in favor of Avalanche?

I wouldn't mind if it was just a community with different opinions splitting off, but currently it just seems like a group that tries to drag BCH and other cryptos credibility down

I really dislike how most of crypto discussion and media attention is more on price/speculation and not on usability as a currency. Adoption is achieved because of merchants and customers, not because of price.

Keep me updated about it! I really would love to use BCH for everday stuff.

Hey, can you recommend BitcoinCash accepting places in Vienna?

For ATMs i can recommend https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin-cash-atm-map/. I can also recommend Dash. They have a lot of ATMs in Vienna and you can easily swap it to BCH

I have not been to places that accept it yet. The Bitcoin.com mobile wallet does include a map with places that accept it however they are quite limited as far as I can tell.

The issue with the atm maps however is that they dont show the fees that those atms charge. I actually intend on building a website in the future for that specific purpose.

The thing I probably love most about bitcoin cash (and also dash) is how easy it easy to buy them for my native currency. I live in Vienna and usually I only need to walk for less than 10minutes for a supported atm.

Definitly! The only thing limiting this website imo is the amount of users. Especially the donation thing however can solve that if people find out about it.

Look at this effort that uses the protocol to create a completely uncensorable and decentralized website.

Beeing able to use a immutable and uncensorable social media platform by paying less than a 100th of a cent per post is just insanely cool and might get a lot of people interested
