Yes, the mini-stress test is very likely what's surfacing these issues :)
Yeah, it's still being slow i think. Better to hash out these issues now than stress test day.

Let's not kid ourselves. A lot of the volume increase is stress test transactions. I hope there's also some organic growth happening.

That is a good strategy, just answer everyone as if they where honest and in good faith. At worst it makes people formulate better arguments, and people generally responds well.

Hmm 🤔❓... Lets say there are identical nodes A & B mining at the same difficulty. A is hashing a block of size 0.1MB, and B is hashing a block of size 8MB. Will node's A hash-rate be noticeably higher than B's?
No, they're hashing a hash/header of the block, so the size of the block is largely immaterial to the speed of the hashing.
