When I first bought BTC, it was quite troubling due to high fees and long tx times (up to a day!). BCH so far has been nearly instantaneous without having to worry about fees at all.
Coinbase. They also have a value that you can set. I did not include my referral code. If your looking for a wallet where you are in control of the private keys there are lots.
