I'm currently reducing my exposure to English native social media in favour of sunshine and garden work. I'll stick around for the memes and frog jokes tho.
twitter disables page refresh when scrolling in text editor. that's all the info you need to finally fix this particular problem but I'll try to record it.
the image upload causes the display to become crowded with image, text field and keyboard.. can't believe you guys haven't noticed this or are you all using gigantic 64" screen phones or desktop only?
so i had someone create a first post on twetch but she ran into the same problem as i did on android. when scrolling up the written text the browser will trigger a page refresh especially when images have been added. this causes the written text to be lost
not shure if server availability is a big deal for twetch but my latency is definitely rather high atm but compared to Germany for example this is still way better not to mention developing countries...
this is my 4g connection. latency is unusually high and Server shows Prague evene tho im currently in the Scandinavian region which is kinda strange. however it's not the first time I see issues like this even under better connection especially on Android.
I usually don't have connection problems under normal household and good 4g connection with only 10ms ping. Still I sometimes have strange twetch problems. I think most pl will just ignore it tho.
I get that this is early stage experimentation, but they sometimes make it seem like a fully fleshed out product which couldn't be further away from reality.
What can I say? I respect you guys for creating twetch, but the dedication to details is somewhat lacking, and it shows in the UX especially on low-end mobile devices...
Low balance sometimes happens when creating a post with twetch wallet enabled. The post will show up as a somewhat greyed out after an error was shown "wallet balance too low" and the post will not be executed.
or maybe it's related to android keyboard issues or the annoying page reset when scrolling up on a almost finished post.. fact is people cannot properly craft complex posts inside of twetch without running into problems not present with competitors.
