This implies a futurity of spirit that adheres to a binary (a priori?) inclination of one’s mind towards deconstruction or optimization, without any room for nuance between the two. Affirmation of reality depends solely on this inclination.
From the present state of affairs it seems reasonable to conclude that the Joycean “yes” as the archetypal feminine is incomplete - the conception of the Overman captures better the a priori nature of a directionality of spirit (I.e. a + or - charge)
A positive spirit absorbs reality (whether it acquiesces to it or confronts it) with a pragmatic inclination towards replacing the improbable with the most probable. It cannot reject its object outright - it must replace it with a viable successor.
The fact that there isn’t a single concise word for “music in a room”, “music in headphones”, and “music in a car” is enough to assert that linguistics < articulation of reality < perception of reality < physical reality(Newtonian) < metaphysical reality
Nietzsche’s Overman concept pertains to directionality of spirit rather than a rationalistic framework for determining a logical valuation of reality unenyconced by religiousity or dogmatism
“fear and hope” are a common example of metaphysical polarities but “fear and inspiration“ are a much better descriptor of what is truly occurring. The ability to face future potentialities with optimism vs pessimism is the grand achievement
