I've managed to get notifications to update automagically without refreshing, but it involves making an API to a block explorer call for every like/reply/follow on memo to check if that action was meant for you.
It would be nice if prominent people in the Bitcoin (BCH) ecosystem using memo.cash posted proof on memo itself. It's been a pain trying to track down and verify accounts myself.
While I was being trolled on here, I added this to memo++, letting you tag users as "verified". Fake accounts won't have the tag after you've verified an address yourself. https://streamable.com/dh9t2
It doesn't matter. It can be done either way. I just gave a suggestion, but you two didn't understand it so you made it out to be more complicated than it really is. It's not.
Have either of you seen the protocol page? The reply and repost actions are EXACTLY the same bar the prefix. It's just a matter of SHOWING it to the users differently on the clientside.
Wow the devs have implemented almost everything in https://memo.cash/protocol. But I have to wonder, does reposting really need to be its own protocol level action?
