Getting those people involved could backfire big time. But if we're cautious and always act positively, embracing them openly, we might change a few minds.
Commodity money (gold silver etc) works because the upper bound of its supply reflects the finiteness of Earth's resources. Fiat's infinite supply is killing the planet
We can have contests asking users to do certain things, answer quizzes etc. Promote this day/event all over Reddit. Heck, try to get r/Cryptocurrency and r/Bitcoin on board too.
Ideally we go back to commodity money and barter trade. But that won't cut it today obviously. Our next best choice is Bitcoin (BCH), with its fixed supply.
We definitely don't need that^ I don't think UBI will be the end of the world, but at the same time I don't think it's needed. We need a just monetary system.
