The only pool openly supporting the old chain is slush. Quite sure all the other miners have voiced support of BCH.
Getting those people involved could backfire big time. But if we're cautious and always act positively, embracing them openly, we might change a few minds.
But yeah, if we *have* to use some form of ledger based money. One that is fixed supply or deflationary would be best. No need for UBI thereafter.
Commodity money (gold silver etc) works because the upper bound of its supply reflects the finiteness of Earth's resources. Fiat's infinite supply is killing the planet

We can have contests asking users to do certain things, answer quizzes etc. Promote this day/event all over Reddit. Heck, try to get r/Cryptocurrency and r/Bitcoin on board too.
We hit a spike in txs when Pewdiepie88 appeared. Coincidence? I think not. Our best bet would be to load our memo wallets, and go on a tipping spree.
Ideally we go back to commodity money and barter trade. But that won't cut it today obviously. Our next best choice is Bitcoin (BCH), with its fixed supply.
We definitely don't need that^ I don't think UBI will be the end of the world, but at the same time I don't think it's needed. We need a just monetary system.

Node's can prune transactions, but nodes that don't prune at all will have ALL the data still. And there will always be nodes that do that.
Encrypted content is *still* on the blockchain. If the algorithm is cracked one day, that data can be seen by the rest of the world.
No. You have to understand that you're writing to the blockchain. And the blockchain is immutable.
