Yeah I know it can be done, but at the same time I didn't want to run a server just for this. The extension is meant to be mainly client side only.

I was implementing it on memo++. Sadly it can only listen to notifications while you have the page up, for now, which is quite a limited use case lol.

That is a common path to take, and the fastest way to go on a adventure is to get banned for asking a genuine question or making an forbidden argument.
Which is why we need to have lots of patience. Keep responding to the same questions with civility and facts. Regardless of whether they're trolling or genuine newbies.
