This June, Bitcoin Cash will become available to 5M Filipinos using the Coins.ph app. Oversea Filipino Workers will be able to remit money to the Philippines with practically 0 fees!
Some lessons are expensive to learn, eventually censorship and fake news will succumb to new and improved technologies like this one as an example and prevent this from happening again
Retrospectively, i think this is a good thing as it brought Bitcoin Cash to the world. Sure it had its cost (expensive one) but so many great are done to prevent this from recurring.
It's funny how something like Bitcoin (BTC) that should have been completely free from censorship and blocks and signify the disruption of banking and government funds control is heavily censored by a group of people.
The most loyal Bitcoin core holders are the ones who bought at 19k USD per coin. Inveatment wise, based on the current eco system of BCH, its more likely that BCH will go up 10 times in value than Bitcoin core will.
Why do you think he's SN? He was caught in many lies but never was caught telling the truth.
This is my personal view based on what i know which is public and some other stories related to what he is doing right now. Again, completely irrelevant to the future of Bitcoin Cash.
Haha what a fuckin loser. He didn't contribute to shit.
He is a visionary and brilliant in so many levels. Even of BCH or BTC had a face like ETH for example, it wouldn't make a difference. Disruptive technology requires adoption and usage.
yes I met him and he doesn't help himself. Roger too .. they might be really committed but I think BCH would benefit a lot if they would be a bit beside.
I met CSW as well and i am pretty confident he is satoshi. It's time we understand that it doesnt really matter. It's not a religion and there is no god here. Tech is here, lets use it
A good experiment would be if a platform like memo could significantly effect the number of daily BCH tx. Yesterday was 16k. If every Memo user would do 10 on chain actions today (post, like, follow) we might see this
Someday, not too far from now, we will be using Bitcoin Cash payments as a standard in our day to day lives. "Dear Merchants, Stop sharing your revenue with others"
I've done some calculations based on fork.lol and if the current hashrate/difficulty ratio remains the same, the halving for BTC will occur 6 days prior BCH. It may result in BTC death spiral.
I mean it's crazy though right? Cheques and stinky hard cash are still much much better for frequent small to medium B2B transactions than any electronic means.
It is. But the only reason is that electronic cash is still complicated to use. The moment it will be as simple as swiping a credit card, and we will get there, it will be widely used.
The biggest concern I hear is of KYC/AML. How to convince the businesses that B2B is safe with BCH, that the payer can be easily identified, to meet legal requirements?
One day it will be solved with the help of identity on the blockchain. Until then KYC can be done the same way as in with cash payments since its practically the same thing.
I used to work in the wholesale food biz in Chicago. They're still mailing each other paper cheques. Still to this day.
That's ok, most people in this world don't even have a bank account. In some developing countries mobile payments is more popular than developing countries. Change takes time.
Well i would like to see the B2B adoption, where companies would pay each other with BCH. No more delays in payments due to holidays or missed payment cut-off time.
This is only up to us to educate the merchants about the benefits of BCH. Paypal took years to become widely used. Same as credit cards.
Indonesia, only IDR-cryptos exchanges remains. Other merchants accepting bitcoin already closed their doors.
I believe it's just a matter of time. P2P can't be stopped. Sooner or later the government will have to follow others in acceptance of new technologies. If not it will be underground.
This Memo is intended to show how far we are from merchant adoption and also get us one step closer. Please reply with one or more merchants you would love to pay to with Bitcoin Cash. Mine is in the first reply.

I'd love it if I can get even one merchant on my area to accept BCH. The problems is our central bank forbids bitcoin to be used as currency. So merchants wouldn't touch them.
