I was doing telecom engineering. We were supposed to be doing storm repairs but they kept me busy designing new fiber services to cell towers and customer locations.
I was there in 06’ it was two years after Katrina and things seemed pretty good. There was a lot of re-construction still going on. Ppl were coming back.
I got to stay in the French Qtr and work in NOLA for about 6 months. Picked up some bad habits….I miss that place
