Actually, the tithe is Old Testament law. Jesus is THE First Fruit. He REPLACES the tithe. Not that you shouldn't be generous, you must. I did a deep study on tithing. A book came to the same conclusion based on church history.

Jesus is the firstborn of the Father. ALL things were made through Jesus. And Jesus calls us who trust in Him brothers and sisters. That is so incredible, so other-worldly. Thank you for sharing.
One of my very favorite passages in the Bible. Jesus gives a supernatural peace that worldly wisdom cannot give. Peace, shalom, is a supernatural event for the believer.

Another of my favorites. Only by yoking up with the stronger ox, Jesus, in this metaphor do we, the weaker ox, have our load lightened. So much deep truth in this scripture. It's the image of two oxens yoked together, the strong (Jesus) with the weak (us)
The Samaritan took care of a total stranger So instead of pity, the Samaritan took care of his "neighbor" which Jesus pointed out. Jesus and His apostles said we are to help those in need if we are able to. Please keep posting about your faith, I love it!
With Jesus Christ in us with His Spirit, I would add that Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is even greater than the 10 commandments.
