My main problem with BTC is that Blockstream is selling to people a fake blockchain-free coin while calling it a true cryptocurrency.
Don't trust an individual miner, that's stupid as he could tomorrow be forced to hand over his private keys etc. On the other hand, trusting the network as a whole is a different matter and far safer
