Yeah. We’ve covered the entire coop and attached run with hardware wire. We think it was hiding somewhere inside during the day when the doors are open, and then killing them at night. We are relocating him 30 miles out today!
Yeah. He’s killing our chickens at night. We’ve lost one a night for like a week. We saw him one night and chased him out of the coop, but then had to set a trap cause he was coming back. Will probably call animal control to come get it.
Something about the peeling bark seems whimsical and beautiful to me. Reminds me that, as humans, we should always shed the past and renew ourselves. And the birch tree is incredibly flexible, a trait I also find admiring.
