Why not have a new crypto that you could use for barter - it would be more tolerated? Asking for BCH is just getting value from abroad that people use to flee
Not necessary a new crypto. BCH is the world's best money, no matter the usage.
Check out the Crypto-Cúcuta Project. They're trying to kickstart a crypto economy in Cúcuta, a city in Columbia bordering Venezuela with many refugees.

A global coin like BCH will be better than a ad hoc local coin that could be worthless abroad. Venezuelans need to keep their purchasing power for importing.
