"Big In Japan" (not released yet, saw day before yesterday and really liked)
I'm a big doc-head. Some of my favorites: We Live in Public, Land of Silence and Darkness, Koyaanisqatsi, Salesman. I could list hundreds, honestly.
I saw an excellent doc the other day called Cartel Land, which some of you may have heard of when it came out. Super raw, very beautifully shot, would be a good double feature with Sicario.
They people on that island looks scarier, so they are better at scaring people to pay their debts, that sounds pretty cartoonist, but what works works. A bit similar to the outcasts of japan.
Nice to see a docs thread, it would be nicer if a review or opinion comment for each video is also added with the links.
