ATG Squats vs Parallel squats? What's your preference? Which one is better?
Squats is one of the exercises I have avoided for the majority of my gym life. So can't answer that question, but I like the idea of this topic.
only do cardio... sry 🏃♀️
Been doing a 5/3/1 routine for a couple of months now and just stared training for my second marathon. 3 days of lifting, 3 days of running, every other day.
Do 3-4 days a week of weights and cardio. Mostly upper body training and core. Don't do legs since I have bigger legs than any dude I have seen at the gym. I do treadmill for cardio fitness and trying to stay lean, but that is failing. Just started on a carnivore diet 6 days ago to see if I can shed some fat. Right now feeling very tired/lethargic so until energy returns (am told it will) taking a week off gym.
just saw this, quite the work out! nice job!!
With summer time at the corner, I might start doing a bit of jogging. It's been two years since the last time...
never a bad time to run a bit! Listening to music helps me run. makes it more enjoyable.
also having a race to train for is good motivation!
I run without music (most of the time), helps me zen out. Supposed to do a fast 5m tonight, but I is supposed to rain :(.
BTW, I now prefer low bar parallel squats, referring back to my opening post. Had some back pain, but that squared it away.
Yay, 225x3 Deadlift this morning, and a 95x3 OHP! Gettin' stronger!
On Day 33 of a carnivore diet and have to say that it's working out pretty good so far other than the very limited meal options! Cardio (running) is improving and strength is at a similar level. Although it's weird. On carbs I would start light, then work up to heavy, then would immediately have to drop back down as I lost strength. On carnivore my first sets always feel really weak, but then as I go up in weight and I feel stronger. I don't have to drop the weights back down. Still only training every 3rd day for now. Will make it every second once I get past 60 days.
210x9 Deadlift! 90x5 OHP. Rep PRs! Fuck yeah! Getting stronger and lighter :D.
