My Fedora won't boot. Seems like a good opportunity to get a clean installation.
I tried to install the latest electron cash wallet but I somehow screwed up my python installation when I updated it. Now it errors saying ModuleNotFoundError: PyQt5.sip. I googled this and did every
thing and updated my python etc. but it still does not work. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yeah I have, similar, but mindboggling. Try reinstalling your linux ;) What linux do you use?
Ubuntu 18.04 its so strange. I'm running it via wine just fine. Apparently I can just download the executable and run it without installing anything
But even when I try that it doesn't work. It still complains about PyQt5.sip
I've been using Manjaro fresh out the box for over a year now. Actually more stable than Ubuntu for me.
Any other cryptolinuxer? Been using GNU/Linux exclusively since 2001.
I used to have apparmor rules for bitcoin-qt & bitcoind (restricting interactions with the filesystem, network, devices, etc.) - never updated
I love linux honestly. I've been on it for a couple years now and used it off and on for over a decade. But I can't wait until RedoxOs is finished.

Pop_os! is a good distro. I don't mind Gnome until I run an application where I need to see its status (offline, online, etc.) then I remember why I don't like it.
Archlinux Is the best distro, long live rolling releases
Try Pop!_os. Once you do you won't want to go back.
