What would save BTC: Nothing they WILL ever do or nothing they CAN ever do?

Scalablity: if BTC hardforks to far superior blockchain that scales like XRP/XLM/EOS then surival is in the cards.

The question is what is the direction of Blockstream do they want to iron out LN then fix blockchain scaling OR all in for LN and Liquid networks?

If bitcoin forks who would follow the fork? For me it seems Miners are not flexible, they follow the leader.
