Yeah, I'mma be the guy that starts the TV topic. Because a Seinfeld or Sopranos topic just wouldn't be enough. Plus, people like TV. TV gets people talking. Talking here gets people using BCH ;)
My opinion is that a majority of TV shows now are just like a lot of cryptos; ultimately the same thing as all of the successful shows, except with their own unique spin that takes value away
Plus a lot of the writing is just garbage, and there's too much emphasis on drama with all of the suspenseful music and a general "edge of your seat" feeling throughout. It's a put off
Actually, looks like somebody already started the "TV" topic 72 days ago, except it went absolutely nowhere.
started watching The Wire recently.. such an awesome show. It is in the same ball park as The Sopranos in my opinion. It is a little easier to predict, but the acting is superb all around
