Better idea is to include a tip towards many organizations that accept bch. That way each transaction weights more, both in terms of bytes and social value.
The purpose of such a button is to include a tip towards account that’s not currently present on Memo, and to make coordination possible: the button can go active on specific time.
We need memo devs to create a special button somewhere on top of the website with #MountMemo⛰ hashtag. User presses the button, and tips towards eatBCH with personal message.
Getting those people involved could backfire big time. But if we're cautious and always act positively, embracing them openly, we might change a few minds.
Why is it such a bad idea? 'trolls' and 'spam' are just as relevant to a #MountMemo finish as other types of content. Maybe worth being cautious of people getting a bad impression.
We can have contests asking users to do certain things, answer quizzes etc. Promote this day/event all over Reddit. Heck, try to get r/Cryptocurrency and r/Bitcoin on board too.
I’ve been a BTC supporter for a long time, but can no longer endure the hatred displayed against BCH and all people wanting to make the world a better place. I’m done! From this point forward, it’s all BCH !!!
Hello, I work on things like chainfeed, datacash, readcash, and @_opreturn Twitter bot. Doing a chat later today, feel free to drop by if you like any of these!
If each post is 400 bytes, that takes 80,000 posts in 10 minutes. That could mean 800 people making 100 each, or one every 6 seconds. It would cost 40,000 sats each (.32 BCH total).

Ever since PewDiePie joined my average tipping amount increased tenfold. Paying it forward is important because it enables further growth and adoption of Bitcoin Cash. Let's do it!
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their memo posts.
1/ Not to derail the convo - it will be supremely difficult to fill up a block with memo transactions. The biggest memo day so far was April 30 at 4406 transactions, which I'd
2/ Estimate is only about 140 kB of data. We would need to surpass the all-time-high-day's transaction count by a factor of 230 within a 10 minute period!
However memo (or even any 3rd party memo enabled wallet) could also be bottlenecks (fail under load). Maybe someone could write a python script to broadcast these txs out manually?
3/ I don't really think this is feasible, given it will be hard to coordinate everyone to be online during that brief window. A single phone call, watching a video, baby crying
