@Joannes They aren't unique, but we have a plan! The @ chooser needs to work well enough that you can efficiently choose the right person. From there, we can know a unique ID.
Is there an API? Or can you use memo fully through the blockchain e.g. with a python library like bitcash? Would be good if people could make bots that don't need the web interface.
You can't really :( Maybe there is an 'owner' tx cmd which references the post tx hash and an address. Client can surface the most frequent reference, anyone can 'fix' a problem?
If the referenced media is YT, the payment info could be in the YT video description which the memo client finds. Could then reasonably know that the address refers to the uploader.
I would love to see an optional secondary tip field for media memos. When I post a video I'd like to give viewers a way to tip the content creator directly, not just the curator.
That's interesting. How would the viewer verify it's the real address of the content creator?
