I don't get it. You mean SPV wallets on ZCash are as secure as full nodes ? Because Bitcoin can't switch to zk-blabla, can it ? Is there an ELI5 explaining why it is as secure ?

https://unstoppabledomains.com
Time to tokenize domain names. I'd love to own 10% of jack.com and having an associated market to evaluate the price of each parked domain (this is stupid for non parked domains)

Same way here I did 2txs to answer you because messages are short so I had to sign 2txs, that's 400bytes of signatures
For large uploads it multiplies the fees by ~1.5 I guess

I mean if you want to upload 100Kb in SV you need 1tx : 200bytes of signature and 100Kb of data
In bch you'll have to do a lot of txs to split the 100Kb, and therefore lot of 200b sigs

Bch shouldn't try to compete with BSV on that. Moreover you'll pay a lot of fees to upload such a file unless it uses100Kb txs

Try to send him 1000sats with a message. Some wallets can do that and maybe his wallet isn't displaying message from the memo protocol but those kinds of messages

Would be weird if they coexist because they share the same PoW algorithm

Even if there is a global recession, people would use less their money but the weather and all metanet apps would secure the network and the chain security would be roughly the same

Ahah weatherSV is doing 1k txs a day https://trends.cash/apps/1/actions that's .003sv/day=3cents/day for miners
Imagine all the weather on SV, people paying to increase the chain security. That's just insane

Actually, BSV is proof of work.
In BCH, up to 10 blocks of work don't matter, so BCH miner's work may prove nothing.

Yup thanks !
I'm glad sv forked off. Don't want that on the sv chain

Happy birthday :)

The whole thread is fun to read. A btc supporter shows him he is wrong and he finally admits "bch will have 2nd layer too", and he can't answer about BSV
This is ridiculous

I guess eyetracking for that is hard to do but good luck !

Just had a weird idea with your gif. What if there were a qr code on videos and you have lens so you pay when you watch it, or qr code on ads and your lens make a tx when you see it

The day you need those second layer solution you'll have to wait for years to have them (and you can't wait if everyone uses Bitcoin). Seems a better option to focus on them first

I therefore don't think the SV network is ready 'right now' to be Metanet

And I don't understand why miners and nodes owners will invest in good hardware. They just need to propagate blocks quickly to avoid being orphaned, not the txs in the mempool
