Howard Hughes grew up in Houston TX. While he hated being there in pre-AC era, he is buried there. His legacy loomed large in the days that a young Jeff Bezos went to elementary school a few miles up the road in River Oaks neighborhood of Houston
The Left likes to paint Howard Hughes as being crazy. Sure he was probably mildly OCD but most of his issues were that he survived a plane crash that would have killed most people. An unbearable pain management problem drove him to how he became.
Digging out the corner around the desk where I been stacking new computer on top of old computer for 17 years. Got to the bottom where it’s telephone cable and an inch of dust 😆
ETH has over 100 times the market value of BSV. One might expect at some point of would not care- if they believed this valuation was the manifestation of being best. These “experts” have to keep dumping on BSV anyway because they know we are right.
I don't have a problem with uneven compensation or private employment contracts. The issue is the uneven taxation is baked into legal code and because these deals are all private not even 1 in 500 people in the US is aware how this scheme operates
Everybody knows the employee contribution limit but nobody talks about the employer contribution limit. Employers max out execs at $57,000 a year in untaxed deferred compensation, that often contractually run 10 plus beyond years of actual working for them
Things you learn in the corporate world after like a decade or so- the 401k is actually a scheme that enables highly compensated executives (i.e. $350K and up) to pay far less tax rates than employees earning typical incomes.
They have shown a willingness to debase $ > 10% in a single year. It’s plausible they will continue, and they will orchestrate a market crash. then legislate a 50% swap of your 401K into a Fed bond that pays 6% to “help you” , while printing at 10%+
It’s popular to think US social security won’t be there when you are old. How many people in US entertain the idea their 401k will be taken from them before they draw on it? There are no rules to the game the Left plays
Even people who value freedom don’t understand it because they don’t grasp the economics involving freedom They think freedom is a 10% annual contribution to a 401k .
