What irks me is Jihan/Haipo are not even putting up a fight at all. They are absolutely terrified of being judged by the markets but they should show they are the stewards of Bitcoin

"hash attack" and "hash defence" are two sides of the same coin. A 51% "attack" can be used to defined or attack and both are equally valid strategies. Don't bring your morality into this game. BTC is hash based.
I think if CSW & nChain do hire more hashing power to commit 51% attack they would openly expose themselves as enemies of Bitcoin & no one would ever trust them any more.
Getting more than 51% is the correct move. Attacking minority is the move CSW SHOULD do. Most ppl just think it's bad, when it's not.
