This is amazing! Good to know that there exist projects that are still making money. Also, wouldn't Nexo be considered a security since token holders are able to share its earnings?
BitcoinSV roadmap is so simple, I finally sleep well. The changes have to be simple enough that average user can understand because that’s the investor
Alternatively, you could make the protocol usable for more users.
Yes they are scared. The SV hash is not visible, shadow mining empty blocks to re-org ABC so they need to have a very high (above equilibrium) hash rate to prevent a deep reorg.
Seems mighty unlikely since SV will have to reorg 685 (557452-556767) blocks since ABC's checkpoint checkpoint
Bitcoin.com showed my memo.cash transaction, which means it was on ABC and there are way too many SV proponents here, thus it has to work on SV too(the SV explorers dont work too well)
They're going for the kill. They're working on a hidden ABC chain. Notice ABC is rocketing to defend. If if they weren't afraid they wouldn't pile it on like this.
Don't they have to rework from 556767 now that there is a checkpoint? (which sounds damn near impossible)
This basically means that the hash of block 556767 should be the value in the quotes above. Hashes can't be generated on demand (and are not deterministic).
Shadow mining, if done by SV after block 556757 is useless and needs to be redone since at least one block before that. Therefore, it helps prevent re-org attacks.
ELI5 on ABC's checkpoint:
A line of code which looks like:
{556767, uint256S("0000000000000000004626ff6e3b936941d341c5932e"
"ce4357eeccac44e6d56c")}
This basically means that the hash of block 556767 should be the value in the quotes above. Hashes can't be generated on demand (and are not deterministic).
