Most children hate their parents at one point. They'll get over it soon enough and stop dwelling on the past to contend with whatever future they are given.
Normally, I'd agree. But this is one mistake that humanity will not get a chance to learn from. WIsh I'd live to see how it plays out, maybe glad that I won't.
Had a crazy past week / weekend. Sand boarded at Great Sand Dunes Ntl. Park, biked in Telluride, concerts in Aspen, the stress test, & crushed some personal code I've been writing - all with a bizarre stomach illness.
Not that I know of. The main difference is IPFS like torrents requires altruistic seeders. Content can disappear if no one is seeding it, or have slow seeders. BCH will always be fast.
Are the troll brigades on r/btc attacking CSW or ABC?
They don't need to pick a side... Simply by splitting the community into sides, they accomplish their mission: to sow discord, uncertainty, and fear in the community
I wish CSW was Satoshi. I wanted to believe... But listening to him speak - especially "answering" questions - it's pretty evident he barely know what hes talking about.
Makes perfect sense if you read up on the phil wilson origin story. It puts CSW as someone who failed to solve the big issue, but was present and part of the group of 3 that did.

What motivates me, honestly, is compulsion. We all have an ego, with me its more then narcissistic gratification...it's an obsessive compulsive feeling of "I need to do this".
but ultimately we are all just complex biological machines constantly (& compulsively) reacting to whats happening around us.
I can't for the life of me figure out why removing the block cap entirely(or baking the increase in like the halving) is so controversial.
IMO it's a lack of extensive experimentation/testing. Networks this big are complex beasts - slight changes can have unforseen and widespread side effects. Caution is good, in theory.
Is this 1980? Why do I constantly find myself defending the shape of the earth, evolution, and other fundamentals of of our collective human knowledge on such a high-tech & cutting-edge forum??
Yes, the mutations have to give a discernable advantage. Mutations does not do that. In the very off chance it does, it doesn't happen often enough to get a foothold in the species.
Well, there's lots of data on evolution, natural selection, and the propagation of genetic mutations in nature. The fossil record is an excellent way to see the process visually.
Atheism can't exist without evolution. Atheism is needed to justify absolute state control of its subjects. Look at the history of the persecution of religion by the Soviets.
And why is atheism needed to justify absolute state control of subjects? Religion has a long a brutal history of being used as a tool to enforce absolute control over people.
This is my first post here trying out memo.cash. I see it says there is character limit of 217, is that a hard limit imposed by the blockchain or is it something that memo.cash felt was enough? Like the twitter limit
My brother got a job at Consensys. I told him to tell them ETH can’t scale and has too many bugs. Informed him to push Wormhole tokens for BCH. Hope BCH takes over.
Now is your chance to surprise one the first food stores to accept BCH directly for food in Venezuela with some "special support". Because it feels wonderful when out of nowhere a tip comes! https://redd.it/97xtcv/
@esthon Great bot. Could you add very clear instructions to the bot profile? I just spent 10 minutes and an incorrect "like" trying to figure out how to get it working.
Sorry about that, this is one thing in my todo list. I'll do it asap!
