Users could even pay BCH so their content is well hosted (seeded) on IPFS. Since Memo is text it's worth the fee to put it on-chain and have it hosted indefinitely.

Good question. BCH has better availability (+timestamps), but for a small fee. Tips create interesting opportunities. IPFS is cheaper, though less performant and censorship resistant.

If we want to make BCH more "cash", we need to make 0-conf more safety.

Bitcoin ABC plans canonical transaction ordering, activation for OP_CHECKDATASIG and OP_CHECKDATASIGVERIFY.
nChain plans block size to 128MB.
I personally support any updates which make BCH more "cash". If canonical ordering could help in efficient block propagation, it makes BCH more "cash". And I don't care the OP_code.

The easiest way to make 0-conf more proof: set a maximum transaction fee limit cap at 5 satoshi/byte.
