I have only read the "one lesson" part so far. It spells out something that has driven me nuts for ages. Not just economists but i.e. most politicians violate this principle.
That book is freely (and legally) downloadable here: https://archive.org/details/HenryHazlittEconomicsInOneLesson

Economics In One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt is one of the best books about economics I've read so far. I understand capitalism much better because of it. #fuckingcapitalists
Anyone have a grip on the social-media-on-blockchain picture for BSV? Weiblock is mentioned above, and I believe I have heard of other plans (but I could be mixing stuff up)
I like the Roger Waters phase of Pink Floyd! I suppose I actually like Roger Waters (the Amused to death album is amazing), but he was an integral part of Pink Floyd for quite a while
Nah. This place looks a bit like a graveyard lately indeed, but people don't seem too eager to get in. Oh, and no, I did not notice the obvious wordplay in the original joke
It is my clear conviction that there definitely is a potential for abuse of the "posts" section of Memo by virtue of algorithm meddling and that the current functionality is confusing
Whether this potential is being abused is very hard to find out for sure, and even more difficult to show to others. But it being there gives constant incentive for abuse

Agreed! If memo does not brainwash us, who will? There are mental hygiene issues at stake! Won't anyone think of the children? Aaaagh, the humanity of it all!!!
On a more serious note, if you don't pay for a service, you are the product. It seems clear to me that an agenda pushed on us is the product here. You can mitigate it by using topics.

If you think that's harsh, he says stuff like his "definition is correct one... its that Capitalist garbage that is all wrong and complete opposite to how things actually work"
With a definition like that its not strange if you have difficulty with a constructive discussion of the virtues of capitalism, and it hints at how deep into his trench he must be.
User -ED- probably posted the above on memo.sv, and it "automatically" ended up here. He has said a lot more about the issue on memo.sv. Nothing worth reading I'd say, but much text.

For those who find all this a bit confusing, due to a technicality, when you make a transaction on one of BSV/BCH chains, the transaction may end up on both. Memo messages have the same property
If you really cared about the integrity of our vocabulary you would not refer to "business owner" as "capitalist". You would understand that this messed up the vocabulary
You probably also would not use so many derogatory terms to refer to your listeners if you cared about people.
The world is filled with people (like you) who think their definitions are "correct" those of others are "wrong". Usually there are such people on both sides of "definition battles"

Too many people are brainwashed about what Capitalism and Communism is

I have thought exactly the same thing. I suppose they can go after applications like memo first, though people can still read the stuff raw from blockchain or use OSS tools.
But then sooner or later some big entity (country probably) is gonna go ballistic and outlaw certain blockchains. I.e. if you post lots of Falun Gong stuff, the chinese will ban chain

Let me assure you then, that this has everything to do with you being obnoxious and dishonest when discussing, to the degree that I did not bother to think about your argument at all.
