Surprise: payday bump. There's no shortage of market demand...just of liquidity to move on that demand.
This is what I don't understand.. when referring to BCH's "liquidity", is that just of its convertibility into USD or other fiat? Or referring to the base trading pairs? Or both?
Fair point. But is the goal to emulate Twitter and win those users over? I think people might prefer both a Like and a Retweet function separate. But maybe I'm wrong.
I think that's the goal. I also think Twitter is doing their utmost to drive away users. Blockchain social media is going to end up with that user base regardless, is my point :)
Plus a lot of the writing is just garbage, and there's too much emphasis on drama with all of the suspenseful music and a general "edge of your seat" feeling throughout. It's a put off
My opinion is that a majority of TV shows now are just like a lot of cryptos; ultimately the same thing as all of the successful shows, except with their own unique spin that takes value away
Yeah, I'mma be the guy that starts the TV topic. Because a Seinfeld or Sopranos topic just wouldn't be enough. Plus, people like TV. TV gets people talking. Talking here gets people using BCH ;)
Making pollution illegal would grind worldwide production to a halt, and would force humans to walk/bicycle everywhere, and would remove your ability to post on the Internet.
I first got into Bitcoin about 4.5 years ago.. heard about it at my IT job and it blew my mind. Took the rabbit hole down and now I'm here. Onward and upward! :)
Does anyone see that it's the best system for centralized entities?
blockchain is the best database system for decentralized networks of participants. Centralized databases are best for centralized entities (think small/med business w/ database server)
Who actually believes Blockchain is here to decentralize society? Anyone see it differently? Let's get a thread going on this.
Blockchain is going to change the world, and connect everybody, but the underlying protocols (i.e. Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc) are the utilities that will foster a Free society.

Bitcoin uses the blockchain to decentralize the monetary system. With Bitcoin, the world becomes the Decentral Bank. Bitcoin also allows data payloads to be sent in txs; hello, Memo :)

Blockchain doesn't really "decentralize society". All it does it take a central database and spread it over a network with a set of rules to which all participants agree - consensus
(4) 2-party systems and multiple party systems have both their pros and cons. E.g. in multiple party systems you need to form coalitions. My pol science advise: start with step 3. MAGA
5/ and kickstart the public into awareness. All of the other fundamental changes to the party systems and other governance models can only come when the corrupt, broken parts are gone

4/ You're right though, step 3 really should be the first one. But how does one get the public involved? Right now it seems that just the election of Trump was enough to start the fire

3/ because it would require exponentially more financing for Big Corp to get their selected representatives elected. Or even get them in the running against another of their selections

2/ Article the First would break down the current size of districts to roughly 1 representative per every 60,000 citizens. Increased representation decreases special interest funding

1/ I was aware the districts were how representatives were assigned, but not how the districts and voting work. I don't vote, so I haven't taken the time to learn the process
