Just asked my GF if I can buy her a set and take some photos against our BCH cars, she's down! Just doing it for the Satoshis.
I think an atm is key to adoption. Of i tip someone I don't have to explain about exchanges. Just refer them to the atm.
More important to have more people have access. Plenty of places they can spend their BCH in North Queensland as a result of my efforts so no need to change it back to fiat.
I see there are a lot of companies accepting BCH in your area. Does merchant availability spill over to use by customers? Do your clients give you feedback in this regard?
User base is small in my community. We are rolling out 6 BCH-only ATMs across the region in the coming weeks though! Greatly improving accessibility to users.
Good stuff!
I've noticed that most merchants won't want to accept unless it's made easy for them, I recommend giving a spare phone to them.
You can even convert to fiat to help them.
If they have no smart device I get the owner to download a wallet on their phone and screen shot their receiving address, print it and put it in a display unit on their counter top.
Have worked with retailers in the past, unless approached from a large scale it's not worth their time.
For individuals I'd personally recommend setting up with small mom/pop stores.

I run a company that specialises in integration of BCH payments into businesses. Owner-operators are our target market. Easiest to onboard and can take on volatility and cashflow issue

Simple.
I missed out on the early days of Bitcoin, though lucky enough to catch the Dec 2017 price spike. Am grateful to be around now and be part of this community at its beginning! So much excitement and innovation!
