I'd be happy to help and answer questions along the way, I am also developing a CashAddr supported BitID android identity manager right now.

Gozira, how could a study possible come to any conclusion with regards to how HF affects trust when we have so very little data to analyze?

Until the relay node operators configure their relay fee thresholds, going below 1sat/b is very unlikelty to reach miners. There is work being done to change this though, in node implemenations.

I want to see how many people currently use Memo on a day to day basis. Stats page only shows total users. So with that in mind, how often do you visit Memo?

I'm curious, but I don't want to go through the hassle of extracting my private key, then use it with a 3rd party site.

Interesting observation, LightRider. I to see that discrepancy, so it's reproducable. I guess they will fix it soon enough.

TrashJackal, yea, the time will come when payment happens for performed work, not on arbitrary dates, but it will likely take decennia due to the inherent slowness of regulation.

Anders, from what I heard google mis-identified copay and some copay-derivatives (but not all) as being bitcoin *mining* software, which they do not allow.

Does it really matter where the fees are taken?

A monthly/quarterly/yearly fee or a fee per transaction, or a withdrawal fee in an ATM - It just goes to cover their costs and profits.

I agree with you though; we can do better. <3

Actually, most of modern economy work on that model. We deposit our salaries (or our boss does it for us) into our bank accounts so that it can be used with the existing payment rails.

Ahh, dashboard only shows posts from users you follow, not topics. Showing topic posts is an interesting idea though, thanks.

Yes, I am sure. Your reply just now didn't show up on my dashboard and I am subscribed/follow the memo topic.

Which makes sense, really. I mean, we're not here to "stop the rock from falling", we're here to bulid a functional payment system with sound money attached to it.
