A repository on gitlab has been setup and an unfinished draft of the specification is available to logged in members here: https://gitlab.com/cashid/protocol-specification

I have 34 followers. Finding even a single person among them who follow the **exact** same people I do, is very unlikely.
2329d · memo
I just looked at my "followers" list on my profile page. Most people have 0% connection (which is fine), but not a single one has a value other than 0 and 100.

Is it a big deal though? I know he spends a lot of time reviewing code, which is good, but that's far from a solo-job - perhaps it's good that some extra responsibility spills over to others?

Haven't read the Code of Conduct, but I imagine linus would have a hard time adhering too it regardless of what it contains :)

Looks kinda a nice, but very difficult to not think "Bitcoin Core" when it's all orange. Perhaps make the logo green instead?

For example, you would have to include in the first TX references to the TXs that is needed to fully parse and display the data.

Pham, I think it's mostly just a matter of convenience; as spreading a memo out over multiple transactions has a higher implementation cost.
2331d · BitID
Work has been started to rework BitID for proper Bitcoin Cash support and a draft specification will be made public soon(tm). A new CashID topic has been created to discuss the specification.
2331d · CashID
This topic is to discuss the CashID, a continuation of the BitID authentication protocol.

take a p2p rpg game for example, if each person signs their own actions and extends the chain with all transactions they have seen, then someone breaks the game rules cannot play with others.
2334d · Bitcoin Cash
jdh, not quite true. blockchains without miners have value if all peers involved in their creation can extend it cheaply. then it becomes a DB that relies on cooperation.

slb, I don't know anyone other than thomas zander using it, but for the sake of ecosystem diversity more should. I'm running BU on two servers, but might switch one to flowee later on.

The OOM detection is nice I guess, but configuring swappiness won't help me. I don't have a swap <3

A BitID anrdoid app that uses CashAddr addresses can be found at https://gitlab.com/cashid/identity-manager

I would like to be able to use BitID to login to memo. Is this something that can be added?

also, sometimes I wish I lived in korea -.-

Gozira, how could a study possible come to any conclusion with regards to how HF affects trust when we have so very little data to analyze?

Until the relay node operators configure their relay fee thresholds, going below 1sat/b is very unlikelty to reach miners. There is work being done to change this though, in node implemenations.

Other than that, I absolutely agree with everything in this article by deadalnix: https://www.yours.org/content/making-bitcoin-cash-predictable-d7640d134a4a

It's a shame the CTOR upgrade ended up being contentius (due to misaligned expectations), and I would love to see it delayed (not cancelled) until the may HF... BUT:

Is there ever a day where that bot doesn't say that the number of transactions per day is growing?
2339d · Memcrypt.cash
That said, keep working on it. A built-in version for PM's over the blockchain would be nice.
2339d · Memcrypt.cash
I'm curious, but I don't want to go through the hassle of extracting my private key, then use it with a 3rd party site.

Interesting observation, LightRider. I to see that discrepancy, so it's reproducable. I guess they will fix it soon enough.
