(cont).. implement DSV opcode as a miner-fee code so any use of it on ABC side results in miner fees and lots and lots of other things.

..while still claiming to "lock down" protocol.

If you assume that craig/nchain is in control, then just read his twitter feed to learn that they want to recover stale coins, remove P2SH, remove anonymity as a concept.. (cont)

I too look forward to >32mb blocks. I'd like to know how the ecosystem will react to various sizes above it, and how big the current software can manage to make it without isolation.

I wish I had the willpower & guts to just shut down all news feeds and get to work, but this is just too darned tense <3

Interesting turn of events indeed.

It seems paybot does not understand multisig addresses, so sadly can't use it :/

Two days left until fork day. I will go dark soon (on memo, not on twitter) and remove my funds (however small) so that I can fully control how I use them.

I have configured my node to maximize connections and set up memory according. I can hold 4GB worth of unconfirmed TX before raising relay fee, and have 8gb for cache out of 32gb.

it is easy to work around though, there is plenty of other node softwares and removing it from ABC on your own node is easy.

They did set up a 6-month fork schedule, so this is to be expected.
replied 2015d
Why? Do you expect them to stresstest-make new blocks large than previous cap regularly to fork others off their chain?

Unless there's real demand for the chain, cap doesn't matter.

If the mempools stay consistent across nodes, then any bloom filter based lookup would still work, but orphan rates might be worse than if we have graphene **with** CTOR.

Both are young, both are changing. In 5 years time, neither will be the same as it is today.

To answer the question though, it probably depends on your intended use-case.

I think capitalism is fundamentally broken due to the lack of perfect information. If the market had perfect information, all costs (internal and external) would be factored in.

Why? I find it to be one of the best movies of our time because it actually gets you connected with the casualties/externalities of war.

No other movie did this for me - GotF did.

White men are people too
Regardless of if the SV side wins the hashwar or not, the chains will split. There are people on both sides that refuse to take part in the other sides ecosystem.

Don't think memo.cash has private messages (yet), but you can find me on twitter (@monsterbitar) or on reddit (u/jonathansilverblood).

Mad props **if** it turns out the way you expect it to.

Pre-test was today, the big test is on the 17th.

I'm not personally in favor of SV, but I agree that their node software really should be listed in the sidebar. They make valid blocks on the network today - some others there don't.

Am I understanding this correctly that the TX generation sends the TX's to only two separate nodes? If so, how are these nodes chosen? (Can I sign up to help as a relay node?)

Congratulations on successfully breaking a new record, and doing so consistently.

@memo how's it going with those child key derivation projects?
