Those who claim to want to get rid of hierarchies are of course really just wanting to create new hierarchies with themselves at the top.
In most cases those who are not at the top but think they should be, are unfit for power.
Not to sound anti-semitic, but I don't consider white people defending themselves from violent attacks to be "racist" or "hate crime."
