change blocktime to 1 second and reset difficilty and you'll have the longest chain by far 😂
Seriously, I don't think Satoshi envisioned that there would be competing versions using the same mining algo, which turns "always" into "in the long term"
We are currently under a 100+ block reorg from a malicious party. The network is split and the malicious party's chain has more work for now. I hope honest miners have prepared for this and know how to coordinate to make the honest chain win more pow.
With a limited blocksize, you limit the number per day. If you keep losing hashrate, difficulty adjusting isn't enough to regain all. This means, higher fees & lower velocity. Lower velocity means less alive.
Any temporary drop can be survived, because as long as there is enough blocks in an acceptable amount of time to get 2016 of them, the difficulty will adjust.
But losing hashrate on a "consistant and exponential" basis, now that's new
Their whole project is based on a chain of corruption to be maintained at all costs. If we create an alternative breach that is not in their chain, and if this breach is successful, they are over.
What I mean is, as the price drops it drops slower because coins consolidate in believers hands, but as the fees increase, because we have no cap they might very well increase faster.
So it plays out in our favor over time, as long as we keep building
It can, it all depends on the speed of increase & decrease of each
But, there is good reason to consider the fee increase as an exponential increase, if we consider that it will follow what we see in blocksize, & the price decrease as an exponential decay
they added that the mandatory vaccination will not apply to police. The have been investing heavily police weapons & ammo for the past years & courts are corrupt to the core. No sentence announced yet but we have seen fines and prison for breaking lockdown
France: after tonight's announcement from our president, from august I will be banned in my own country from going to a bar, restaurant, cinema, shopping mall, hospital, any place with more than 50 people, from taking a plane, a train, and even a car.
For a human being, because we are social by nature, there is nothing that seems more insignificant but is actually more courageous than resisting social peer pressure to go in the direction dictated by his mind.
