its quite concerning. this guy has too much power. we should either get this limit removed or put a dynamic (based on demand) limit in place so that a BTC situation won't happen again.

Actually that would be playing into BSV. There's no race for the biggest blocksize ando risk it'll be limited in BCH. The biggest threat to BCH is more manufactured contention.
