The catharsis provided by social media acts as a pacifier for the masses keeps them from boiling over and doing anything about the way things are, other than be contented by bitching and complaining about them.

Healthy skepticism that is infantilized with censorship and equated to being a conspiracy theory, is skepticism that will only Streisand effect the more this kind of infantile like nonsense continues.
When a purported conspiracy theory is confirmed and becomes mainstream fact, by default, by omission, this implicates mainstream censors and naysayers to a certain degree, of being suspect, if not of being complicit as conspirators themselves.

We should not conflate following policies or laws with good ethics or morality, if they're indicative of anything it is of a one-sided desire for order and control, and on the flip side, of obedience and submission.
When "Trust my experience" is replaced by "Respect my authority" we can be sure that we're living in an authoritocracy rather than a meritocracy...
Most of what we call "authority" operates, by design, with structural impunity and their "authority," is reflected by a "title," rather than there being a meritocracy nor does it infer their credibility or integrity of character.
