You have some logic, but any time you try to connect it and make a logical argument you fall back on your pathos.
Your argument, at least in my perception has a body of pathos, a few sprinkles of logic and a pretty big gap in character.

You see, I'm in college myself. I'm not the best, at all. But i did learn a thing or to, and still am over the next three years. There are three elements to an argument.
The structure of which implying it was your responsibility to succeed, and you failed to do so.
Failing to suceed is pretty direct wording.
