Agreed. Scripture was inspired by God, and it points to and testify of Christ.
But it is not deity. Start with Scripture, but don’t stop with Scripture. Follow it to the One it testifies of.
The Logos. The Word of God which gives eternal life.
John also recorded the distinction between Scripture (which bear witness to Christ) that were unable to give eternal life (John 5:39) and the Logos. (which gives eternal life)

When you use the Word of God as a proper noun, are you referring to Jesus? Or scripture?

Short answer, because the Bible warned us not to do that.
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
The universe was created by God, so it certainly shows evidence of God.
Just think about this. Why replace the creator with the creation? Why reject the creator but accept the creation?
